Terms of Sale & Use
These terms cover everything you buy from us and everything you do on this site. They are written to be read, not to be skipped — if something here does not sit right with you, call us before you order.
1. Who you are dealing with
Snowshop is operated by DAG AUTO LLC, a limited liability company with a business address at 1309 Coffeen Ave, Ste 14548, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. In these terms «we», «us» and «the shop» mean that company; «you» means the person browsing the site or placing an order.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this site, placing an order or accepting delivery of a part, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are ordering on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract to place an order.
We may update these terms. The version in force for your purchase is the one published on this page at the moment your order is placed, and the «last updated» date above tells you when it changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
3. Products, listings and fitment information
We list dimensions, materials and OEM cross-references because that is what we would want to read before ordering. Those numbers are provided for identification and reference only. Manufacturer names, part numbers and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and their use here does not imply that we are an authorised dealer for, or affiliated with, any manufacturer unless a listing says so explicitly.
Fitment is ultimately your call. Machines get modified, superseded numbers get reused and mid-year production changes happen. Check the part against the one you are replacing before you fit it. If you are unsure, ask us first — that is what the tech line is for, and it costs less than a return.
Photographs are representative. Colours, packaging and hardware supplied with a part may differ from the images. We correct errors in descriptions, prices and availability when we find them, including after an order has been submitted (see section 5).
4. Prices, taxes and currency
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars ($) and exclude shipping and tax, which are added at checkout. Sales tax is currently calculated at 8.75% where applicable. Prices can change at any time without notice, but a change never applies to an order we have already accepted and charged.
If a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, a listing at a fraction of cost — we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you, offer the correct price, and cancel and refund in full if you would rather not proceed.
5. Orders and when a contract is formed
Submitting an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. The confirmation screen and email confirm that we received the order, nothing more. The contract is formed when we dispatch the goods, or when we tell you the order is accepted, whichever comes first.
We may decline or cancel any order, in whole or in part, before dispatch. Reasons include: the item turned out to be out of stock, the listing or price was wrong, we could not verify the payment or the delivery address, or the order looks like resale-quantity buying or fraud. If we cancel, we refund what you paid for the cancelled items in full — that is the extent of our liability for a cancelled order.
6. Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card details are entered into Stripe's payment form and go straight to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We receive only the payment result, the card brand, the last four digits and the billing details needed to match the payment to your order.
You confirm that the card you use is yours or that you have permission to use it. If a payment is reversed, charged back or fails after dispatch, you remain liable for the goods and for reasonable costs of recovery. Stock is reserved for your order only once the payment is confirmed.
7. Shipping and delivery
Orders paid before the daily cut-off ship the next business day, Monday to Saturday. Ground shipping is $14.50 flat and free on orders over $149 before tax. We ship within the United States; for anything outside it, contact us before ordering.
Delivery dates given by us or by the carrier are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or an address problem. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession of the parcel — but if a parcel arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, tell us within 7 days of the delivery date and we will pursue the carrier claim and make it right.
Check your shipping address before you submit. Re-shipping a parcel returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address is charged at cost.
8. Returns, exchanges and refunds
You have 30 days from delivery to start a return. Email parts@snowshop.com or use the contact form with your order number and what went wrong, and we will issue a return authorisation and the address to ship to. Returns sent without authorisation may not be credited.
To be refunded, a part must come back unused, uninstalled, in resalable condition and in its original packaging with any hardware and paperwork. We inspect returns on arrival.
- Our mistake — wrong part shipped, defective on arrival, damaged in transit: we cover return shipping and either replace the part or refund it in full, your choice.
- Your change of mind — ordered the wrong part, no longer needed: you cover return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to non-stocked or special-order items. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
- Not returnable — parts that have been installed, run or modified; electrical and electronic components once the packaging is opened; fluids, chemicals, aerosols and other hazardous materials; special-order and cut-to-length items; anything sold as clearance or «as is».
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days of the return being inspected. Your bank may take a few days more to show it. Exchanges are handled as a refund plus a new order, so the replacement part ships as soon as it is available rather than waiting on the return.
9. Warranty
Parts carry whatever warranty the manufacturer offers; we pass those claims through and help you file them. Beyond that manufacturer warranty and section 8 above, we give no warranty of our own.
Manufacturer warranties are void where a part was fitted incorrectly, used in racing or competition, modified, run with the wrong fluids or beyond its rated duty, or damaged by an unrelated failure. Labour, downtime, towing, recovery and diagnostic time are never covered.
10. Installation and assumption of risk
Snowmobiles and personal watercraft are powerful machines used in cold water, on ice and in the backcountry. A part fitted wrongly can cause serious injury or death. Unless you are competent to do the work, have it fitted by a qualified technician, follow the manufacturer's service manual and torque specifications, and wear the right protective gear. You take on the risk of installation and use, and you are responsible for operating legally and safely in your area.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these terms, the site and everything sold on it are provided «as is» and «as available». To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DAG AUTO LLC, its members, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of use, downtime, towing, recovery, rental machines, or damage to a machine or other property arising out of the sale, installation or use of a part — even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you actually paid for the goods giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or the installation, use or resale of a part in a way these terms do not permit.
14. Using the site
The site's text, photographs, layout and code are ours or our licensors' and are protected by copyright. You may browse, print and share pages for your own use. You may not copy the catalog, scrape it, resell the data, or use our name or marks without written permission.
Do not attempt to break into the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, overload it, place fraudulent or automated orders, or submit anything through our forms that is unlawful, abusive or false. We may refuse service, cancel orders and block access if you do.
Anything you send us through the contact form — a fitment question, a photograph of a broken part — you grant us permission to use for the purpose of answering you and improving our listings. Do not send us confidential information you do not want us to act on.
15. Third-party services and links
We rely on outside services to run the shop: Stripe for payments, shipping carriers for delivery, our hosting provider, and web fonts served by Google. Pages may link to manufacturer sites or service documents we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties; their own terms and privacy policies apply. What data reaches them, and why, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
16. Communications
By ordering you agree that we may contact you by email or phone about that order — confirmations, shipping notices, fitment or stock questions. These are transactional messages and are not marketing. If we ever send marketing email, it will carry an unsubscribe link.
17. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by anything beyond our reasonable control: severe weather, road closures, carrier or supplier failure, manufacturer backorders, labour disputes, power or network outages, fire, flood, epidemic or government action. If such an event stops us from filling your order, we will tell you and refund what you paid for the items we cannot ship.
18. Disputes and governing law
Talk to us first. Most problems — a wrong part, a late parcel, a charge you do not recognise — are sorted out in one phone call. Before starting any formal proceeding, send us written notice of the dispute at parts@snowshop.com and give us 30 days to resolve it.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Any action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and both sides consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent that limit is enforceable where you live. Claims are brought individually, not as a class action.
19. General
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that provision is applied as closely as possible to its original intent. Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive it. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business. Together with the Privacy Policy and the order confirmation, these terms are the entire agreement between us about your purchase.
